1984 @TheRedRoomTaipei

It’s way beyond what midnight kind of sleepy, but I spent the last few dozen frantic minutes reading George Orwell’s 1984 adapted for vocal chords and noise by  Ignatz Ratzkywatzky, Taipei’s preeminent script writer from parts West.

To call it a “radio play for our times” fits five better than a four fits five.

No, Winston, that is no use. You are lying. You still think there are four.

I don’t know what to think. There is a great lineup of talent for the performance next Saturday night,  at Red Room 紅坊國際村 TAF 空總創新基地 建國南路一段177號, Taipei, Taiwan 106 to cap off an entire half of a 24-hour clock of events at Taipei’s home for the Culture of Sharing.

It begins at eleven and #goesupto11 (p.m.) Check out the Spectacular Atrophy FB events page  on your telescreens. . . and do what it tells you.
